Video Clips
Most of the time these will be clips recorded from video by yours truly. If I find a video clip floating around the
internet that I think folks should see, I'll put it in here as well. And if I ever get really creative and make some
videos of my own, they'll end up here with big flashing stars drawing everyone's attention. ;)
Anime Music Videos (a monthly or so selection of some of the better AMVs I've found. These files are all large, even
zipped, so don't download unless you have the time and space for them! Also, these videos may include spoilers for their
particular series, so again, don't watch unless you're cool with finding out any plot points! If you want
to see more AMVs, go to AnimeMusicVideos.org.
- Cowboy Bebop: Made in Heaven (Cowboy Bebop set to Queen's
"Made in Heaven." Poignant video that deals with the conclusion to the Spike/Vicious/Julia
arc. Spoiler warning goes double for this one! Free DivX codec
needed.)
- Utena: Gravity of Love (Revolutionary Girl Utena, the Movie
set to "Gravity of Love." Sweet, sexy video that tells its own story--you don't have to have
seen the movie to understand and enjoy.)
- Prince Charming (Heroic Legend of Arislan set to Adam Ant's
"Prince Charming." Cool video set to goofy, yet infectious song, created by the person over at
www.maniacnun.com. Unzipped Real media file.)
- Evangelion Rhapsody (Evangelion set to Queen's "Bohemian
Rhapsody." The video that blew my friend Ashkitty's video-editor brain when she saw it. ;>)
- Evangelion: Chop Suey (Evangelion set to "Chop Suey" (I
honestly don't know if that's the band or the song!). Lots of action, good editing--one of my
favorites!)
- Eternal Damnation (Hellsing set to E.S. Posthumous'
"Pompeii." Instrumental piece that mostly showcases the creator's editing skills--it's pretty
cool, but there's not a storyline to this one. Another good video by the guy over at
http://www.nhmk.com./)
- Princess Mononoke: When World's Collide (Princess Mononoke
set to "When Worlds Collide." Some cool lip-synching in this one.)
- Vampire Hunter D: Bodies Hit the Floor (Vampire Hunter D:
Bloodlust set to "Bodies Hit the Floor." Need I say more? Unzipped (relatively
small file).)
2003 MTV Movie Awards (note that the volume is pretty low in these, so turn your speakers way up. Apolgoies for the
crackles and pops that occur in places--I think the wiring in my AV setup needs some checking.)
- Award for best action (Peter Jackson accepts this award and thanks everyone, especially
himself, before Aragorn and Theoden step in to set things straight.)
- Gollum acceptance speech (Gollum wins the award for best virtual performance. Andy
Serkis accepts the award, but is then interrupted by a very slighted Gollum.)
- Yoda acceptance speech (Yoda accepts the award for best fight scene.)
